- Summary
- "They are the Otherkind: monstrous entities from a realm beyond realms. These invaders have come to Earth from the Sphere of Gods in the Dark Multiverse to take back what was rightfully theirs: magic itself. Each may have its own name--the Rip, the Soup, the Offspring--but for the magical beings of our world, their true name is death. As the Otherkind rip magic away, the all-powerful Doctor Fate and his Lords of Order have hatched a scheme to use these beings to bend magic back toward order. It was Fate and the Lords who originally stole magic from the Otherkind in the hopes of creating a more orderly world, and now they will sacrifice the magical community to the monsters from the dark to restore that order! But the Justice League Dark will not go down without a fight. Wonder Woman, Swamp Thing, Zatanna, Man-Bat, Detective Chimp, and their allies will stop at nothing to overthrow the Lords, repel the invasion, and restore balance to our sphere. But how much darker can these heroes get before they unleash the monsters within themselves?"-- cover page 4
